本课程是传播学专业的必修课。目的是培养学生了解视觉艺术的基本知识，和掌握计算机图像操作技能。主要包括视觉传达基础与视觉元素应用与实践，视觉传达基础部分主要讲授视觉信息的设计与表达，培养学生如何理解概念，通过创意思维、图形设计训练如何用视觉表达概念和信息。视觉元素应用与实践部分强调从文字设计、招贴设计、标志设计、吉祥物设计等不同的应用角度增强学生对文字、色彩，以及对视觉画面的整体把握和视觉设计能力的提高。

Visual Communication Design is a basic professional courses for students of Communication professional. The purpose is to train students to understand the basic knowledge of the visual arts, and master the skills of computer image manipulation. Including visual communication foundation with the visual elements of the application and practice fundamental part of visual communication design and expression of the teaching of visual information, and train students how to understand the concepts, creative thinking, graphic design training in how to use the concept of visual expression and information. The visual elements of the application and practice part emphasizes the application point of view different from the text design, poster design, logo design, mascot design to enhance the students' text, colors, and visuals overall grasp and visual design capabilities improve.
