本课程为传播学专业基础课。通过中英文双语授课的方式，一方面使学生把握新闻传播学的基本理论，熟悉其整体的框架；另一方面，能够借助教学使学生对新闻传播学的实践业务知识有具体的了解。本课程在教学中将结合相关前沿新闻传播学英文文献的阅读及翻译，通过本课程，学生应该全面提高传播学专业英文文献的阅读与翻译能力。

English for Journalism & Communication Studies（2）is an important basic professional course for students of Communication Study. Through English and Mandarin Learning, students can grasp the basic theories and whole framework of journalism and communication studies.
