社区基层组织管理是管理学的一门专业任选基础课程，它是行政管理专业学生掌握公用事业管理理论与实践的前提。本课程从管理学的角度切入，在注重理论研究的基础上，重视对社区现实问题的探讨，勾画社区未来的蓝图，为学生提供新颖、适用的专业课程，力争体现创新理论与实践的结合。本课程要求学生掌握国内外社区基本理论知识，掌握中国社区建设的基本内容，以及研究社区的基本方法。

本课程的主要内容有：社区与社区治理的含义及特点、中外社区管理的实践发展、社区管理主体、社区规划、社区环境管理、社区服务管理、社区治安管理、社区卫生服务与管理、社区资源管理、社区管理的方法与技术。

Community Organization Management is an optional foundation course of Management field. It’s the premise of mastering public utilities management theory and practice for the students of Administrative management major. This course concerns from the management point of view, bases on the theoretical study , pay attention to the of community real problem, outlined the community's blueprint for the future, to provide students with a novel applicable professional course, and strive to reflect the combination of the innovation theory and practice operation. This course requires students to master basic theoretical knowledge of the domestic and international community, to grasp the basic content of the Chinese community construction, as well as the basic methods of researching community.

The main content of this course: the meaning and characteristics of communities and community governance, the foreign community management practice development, community management subject, community planning, community environmental management, community services management, community policing, community health services and management, community resources management, community management methods and techniques.
